Terms

The calculators on homerenovationcostcalculator.com are planning tools. They are not a contractor bid, an appraisal, an engineering design, or a tax opinion.

Official figures (wages, sales tax, building permits, storm reports, code-adoption notes) are shown with their source and period. Installed prices, material prices, tear-off, disposal, decking, permits used as defaults, labor share, and addition rates are labeled Estimate (non-official). They are ranges from public cost guides and retailer listings, checked on the date shown in the methodology.

You are responsible for confirming permits, codes, taxes, and prices with local offices and with the contractors you hire. The site operator is not liable for decisions you make from these ranges.

Quote matching

The quote form is a free referral service. The site is not a contractor and does not perform the work. There is no guarantee that a contractor will respond, of the price they quote, or of their workmanship. You must verify licence and insurance yourself. Where a state publishes a contractor licence lookup, the state page links it.

The site may be paid by contractors or lead partners when a request is delivered. You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text or by emailing hello@michaeladegoke.net.
