homerenovationcostcalculator.com publishes cost calculators. The calculators run in your browser and on this server. They do not ask you to create an account.

What you can send

The contact form emails your name, email address, and message to hello@michaeladegoke.net. The site does not store that message in its database. A hidden field is used to drop automated submissions. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers.

The quote form is separate. It uses the same session cookie to check its form token, then stores the request so it can be sent to contractors. See Quote requests below.

Analytics

If a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, the site loads gtag.js and Google may set cookies and receive page and event data under Google’s terms. If a Microsoft Clarity project ID is configured, Clarity may record clicks, scrolls, and session metadata under Microsoft’s terms. Both scripts are omitted when those IDs are empty.

Advertising

An ad partner such as Mediavine or Grow may be added later. Until ads are switched on in the site configuration, no ad script is loaded. When ads are enabled, the partner may use cookies to measure and limit how often an ad is shown. Their policy will govern that data.

Cookies

The public calculators do not set a tracking cookie of their own. A session cookie is used on the contact form and on the quote form (to check the form token) and on the password-protected admin page. Analytics and, later, ads set their own cookies only when those tools are enabled.

Hosting

The host receives ordinary server logs, including IP address, user agent, and the page requested, for security and operations.

Quote requests

If you submit “Get my quotes”, the site stores the form fields (ZIP, project type, timing, whether you are the homeowner, name, phone, and email if you added one), the estimate range and calculator inputs shown on that page, the page address, the referring page, your IP address, your user agent, and the exact consent sentence you checked, with its version. That record is how the site connects you with contractors and keeps proof of consent.

A request may be shared with up to 3 partner contractors or lead partners. Partners that ask to be named are listed on the partners page. The site does not sell this information for unrelated marketing.

Quote request records, including the consent record, are kept for 24 months (the configured retention period) and then deleted. To ask for a deletion sooner, email hello@michaeladegoke.net.

Tapping a “call” button does not place a call by itself. If you tap it, the site logs the click with the page, the number key, and a hash of your IP plus the date. The raw IP is not stored on that click log.

Analytics events for a quote or a call click send the project type, timing, state, metro, and a coarse estimate band. They do not receive your name, phone, email, ZIP, IP address, or anything you typed in a free-text field.
